Who Runs This Site
CoreStacks is me — Mike Hartnett. I started this site after losing my father to heart disease, and after 7+ years of testing what the longevity research says against my own body. I take 34 supplements a day, pull regular bloodwork through a functional medicine doctor, and publish what holds up. No sponsors. No brand deals. Just independent analysis.
How I Work
I’m not a doctor. I’m a regular guy who reads the research and tests it on myself. Every one of the 158 published guides on this site follows the same rule: report what the experts and the studies actually say, attribute everything, and never make a claim I can’t source. My own numbers keep me honest — triglycerides from 239 to 74 over three years (a statin and diet changes were part of that too; I don’t pretend supplements did it alone). - My research automation scans trusted sources daily and surfaces anything new.
- I verify and cross-check every claim against the original source before it ships.
- When experts disagree, I flag it and link the original sources so you can judge.
- Each final summary includes references, expert names, and a clear disclaimer: this is not medical advice.
